Who's Your One?

Imagine if every believer could answer that question, "Who's Your One?" with the name of a person who is far from God - a person for whom they are praying and with whom they are seeking to share the gospel.

We do not need another method for evangelism, what we need is a burden to see people who are far from God experience the new life He offers through Jesus Christ.

Who’s your one? Who is the person in your life that does not have a personal relationship with the Lord?

I want to invite you to:

  1. Pray first: Ask God to reveal who your one ought to be.IDENTIFY

  2. Pray: Don’t just pray about them, but really pray for your one.INTERCEDE

  3. Create connection points for relationship building with your one. INVESTMENTS

  4. Look for opportunities to have spiritual conversations with your one.INTENTIONALITY

  5. Make an effort to share the gospel with your one.INVITATION

Every great movement of God has begun with His people praying and evangelizing. As we seek to reach MidTown and in doing so touch the World, I'm inviting every member to identify someone who is far from God, intercede for that person, make Investments into the life of that person and invite that person into the Kingdom and repeat until ALL know Him. Who’s Your One?

Together a Kingdom Impact can be made!

Matthew 4:18-22

  1. Jesus doesn’t choose the best, He choose the willing.

  2. He chose us, not us Him.

  3. Our primary calling is to be with Him.

  4. To follow Him, we have to leave all.

  5. He commands us to spiritually reproduce.

Conclusion
You are God’s method. We want to see you become this. We want you to commit to it. And don’t let it intimidate you. Disciple making is simply teaching someone to follow Jesus as you follow Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit. And Jesus has promised to help you. So, identify your one. Ask God to help you identify one person you can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, bring to faith in Christ.

John 1:46-46, 49, Matthew 13:45-46

  1. Commit to being an intentional witness.

  2. Go and Tell

  3. Recognize and repent of excuses

Conclusion
Will you be willing in to make a public, unashamed commitment to be intentional to invite one to church, one to have dinner in your home, and reach your one in the remainder of the 2019 calendar year?

Luke 16:19-31

Hell is…

  1. Eternal

  2. A place of pain

  3. A place of fear.

  4. A place of sadness

  5. A place of isolation

  6. A place of separation.

Conclusion

If Jesus is not going to allow those in hell to come back and warn people of hell, could you help me this morning when answering this question? Who will warn people?
