KIDTOWN

At UABC Kidtown, we believe that our mission
is to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus.
That means we must train and love them today
so that what happens in church on Sunday will
make a real difference in a kid’s life on Monday.

Sunday Mornings

10am - We offer secure, family friendly care and learning for Birth-5th Grade on Sunday mornings. We are using The Gospel Project curriculum.

We are currently using the Foundations Bible Reading Plan. Foundations for Kids is a 260-day reading plan for kids that highlights the foundational passages of Scripture every disciple should know. Foundations for Kids follows the H.E.A.R. method. The acronym H.E.A.R. stands for Highlight, Explain, Apply, and Respond. Each of these four steps contributes to creating an atmosphere to hear God speak:

HEAR: Kids will study God’s Word and memorize a verse.
EXPLAIN: Kids will read an explanation of the verses.
APPLY: Kids will work an activity to help them apply the Bible truth.
RESPOND: Kids will have the opportunity to respond in prayer.

Families are challenged to read through their bibles together each week and H.E.A.R. something from God. On Sundays, we discuss what we have all read throughout the week and dig a little deeper into a scripture passage from the week.
