A Year

None of us had an idea on January 1 that 2020 would be a year in which we truly made decisions based on day-to-day information. UABC has made decisions quickly, changed direction, supported new ideas, and even sought to embrace tradition in the new normal. On the days that I felt like I was about to lose it, one of you would text, email, or call! God has had and continues to have his hand of protection over His family of faith!

All of us have felt some loss in 2020; financial, routine, security, and love ones, yet you continued to respond and to serve, and for that, “Thank You” does not seem to be enough. 2021 is sure to have its difficulties and by all indicators will begin in the same fashion that 2020 will end, but I certainly feel that momentum and God are on our side. Because of that certainty, I believe that success will be evident.

Mary and I count it a blessing to continue to serve our Lord here at Union Avenue. Your continued trust is humbling. Thank you for your guidance, accountability, and overall friendship! We love each of you!

Serving Him,
Pastor Jeff
